Donald Trump Claims NBC Has Renewed 'Celebrity Apprentice'

Businessman and relentless self-promoter Donald Trump claimed on Sunday that NBC has renewed "Celebrity Apprentice" for another season.

Late Sunday afternoon he tweeted this all-caps message to his Twitter followers:

"I AM PLEASED TO INFORM YOU THAT CELEBRITY APPRENTICE HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR ANOTHER SEASON BY NBC. SEE YOU AT THE NBC UPFRONTS TOMORROW."

"Celebrity Apprentice" wasn't listed as part of NBC's schedule when it was released Sunday afternoon. That certainly doesn't preclude the network from having decided to pick up the tired franchise for one more go round. But it's also true that Donald Trump isn't above stretching the truth to suit his own purposes.

So I suppose we'll see on Monday when NBC makes its presentation to advertisers and the press
