Fictional Richard Castle Offers Condolences To Boston

One of the more entertaining faux celebrity twitter account is @writercastle, the twitter account for the fictional writer Richard Castle, the central character in ABC's cop drama "Castle."

His tweets tend to be based on some current plot twist taking place on "Castle," but on Monday his thoughts turned to the events in Boston:

"Days like today remind me to never take for granted the people I love. My heart goes out to the families of everyone injured. #BostonMarathon"

I'm not sure the tweet was a terribly wrong idea...it just seems odd. Who cares what someone tweeting for a fictional TV character thinks about the day's events. It just seems like an effort to continue to pretend Richard Castle is really on Twitter and that just seems like a bit too much for today.
