'F-Troop' Star Larry Storch Might Be 90, But He's Not Dead

The latest celebrity to be the focus of a rumored demise is comedian and "F-Troop" star Larry Storch.

The problems began Wednesday morning when Storch's Wikipedia entry was changed to show a date of death of today (April 10). That lead to a flurry of social media comments lamenting his death.

A family friend of Storch has confirmed to AllYourScreens that the actor is "alive and well and playing his sax."

Storch is best known to TV audiences for his role as Corporal Randolph Agarn on "F-Troop." He also has done a number of voices for animated series, most notably Mr. Whoopie on the cartoon "Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales".

As a comedian and impersonator, he's best known for his impression of Cary Grant, which included the phrase "Judy, Judy, Judy." The phrase became so well known that most impressions of Grant by other performers included it as part of their routines.

In recent years Storch appeared primarily in nightclubs as well as some theater productions, including a 2008 appearance on Broadway. Now 90, Storch is semi-retired, limiting his public appearances to a few memorabilia shows.
