Oxygen Orders Season Two Of 'The Face'

Oxygen has ordered a second season of its model competition show. The ten episode season is set to air later in 2013.

The show gives ordinary women the chance to compete to be the "face" of a major brand and season one was won by Devyn Abdullah, a 21-year-old single mother from the Bronx. She became brand ambassador for ULTA Beauty’s 2013 fall and holiday national advertising campaign.

"’The Face’ brings a unique and authentic look into the modeling industry, along with our supermodel coaches and contestants delivering the passion, fashion, competition and drama that our audience was captivated by,” said Rod Aissa, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Oxygen Media. “We are excited to get back on the catwalk for season two as we bring in a few new twists along the way."

The March 26th season finale of "The Face" garnered nearly 554,000 total viewers.

A U.K. version of the show, for British TV giant Sky Living, will be airing this fall.
