Best PGA Tour Round Three Ratings In 12 Years

Heading into today’s final round of the Valspar Championship, Golf Channel and NBC Sports has delivered record ratings over the first three days of coverage, highlighted by the best PGA TOUR RD 3 overnight rating in nearly 12 years on any broadcast network.

Saturday (overnights)

- NBC Sports’ RD 3 coverage on Saturday delivered a 3.26 overnight rating, +181% vs. 2017 and the highest-rated PGA TOUR RD 3 telecast on any broadcast network in nearly 12 years, since the 2006 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (3.6). Also the highest-rated telecast at this event on-record (2007-18).

- Golf Channel’s Saturday RD 3 lead-in coverage earned a 1.07 overnight, highest-rated Golf Channel telecast at this event on-record and in over 4 years since the 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship.

- Nearly 5.5 million minutes streamed on Golf Channel and NBC Sports Digital, +612% vs. 2017.



Friday (overnights)

- Golf Channel’s Friday RD 2 coverage delivered a .59 overnight rating, +103% vs. 2017 and highest rated RD 2 telecast at this event on Golf Channel (2007-18).

- Nearly 1.9 million minutes streamed on Golf Channel Digital, +281% vs. 2017.



Thursday (final numbers)

- Golf Channel’s Thursday RD 1 coverage delivered a .61 US HH rating and 864,000 viewers, +205% vs. 2017 and most-watched early-round telecast at this event on Golf Channel (2007-18).

- Most-watched PGA TOUR RD 1 telecast on Golf Channel (excluding majors and THE PLAYERS) in nearly 7 years.

- More than 2.6 million minutes streamed on Golf Channel Digital, +581% vs. 2017.
