A&E Networks Launch Monday On Apple TV

Content from the A&E Networks: A&E, History and Lifetime - launched on Apple TV today. Some of the content is free as part of an ad-supported app. A&E cable and satellite subscribers can access additional content through TV Everywhere authentication. The service is limited Apple TV customers in the U.S.

The free service includes full episodes of shows such as "Bates Motel," "Storage Wars," "Devious Maids" and "Pawn Stars." The TV Everywhere portion includes previous seasons of the shows.

"We’re excited to deliver our hit programming from A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime to Apple TV users," said Dan Suratt, Executive Vice President, Digital Media & Business Development, A+E Networks said in a statement. "With the response we've seen from our content on iOS devices and on iTunes, bringing A+E HD content to Apple TV is a natural evolution to satisfy our consumers’ demands and to provide our advertisers a new opportunity to partner with A+E Networks."
