Netflix Series 'Sense8' To Film In Chicago

The Lana and Andy Wachowski series "Sense8" will shoot at least part of its 10-episode run in Chicago.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the duo best known for creating the "Matrix" films will shoot in Chicago for two or three weeks in July.

The series is expected to premiere in late 2014 or early 2015.

"Sense8" follows eight people scattered around the world – including Chicago, the UK, Mexico City and Mumbai -- who are connected by a vision.

The series will also shoot in San Francisco, London, Berlin, Iceland, Mexico City, Mumbai and Nairobi.
