Netflix Adds Selection Of Pokemon Programs March 1

Netflix is adding a selection of Pokemon programs in an exclusive streaming deal, just a month after Hulu Plus nabbed its own set of Pokemon exclusives.

Beginning March 1, Netflix subscribers in the U.S. will be able to watch the classic first season of the TV series "Pokemon: Indigo League," the "Pokemon: Black and White" season as well as two feature-length Pokemon movies: "Pokémon the Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram" and "Pokémon the Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom."

Hulu Plus is the exclusive streaming home of the full-length animated movie "Pokemon: The Rise Of Darkrai," as well as episodes from the the Diamond and Pearl story arc in season 10 of the animated Pokemon series. Hulu Plus also added the the four-part 2013 "Pokémon Origins" animated series.

Three other Pokemon films will be added to Hulu Plus later this year: "Pokemon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life," "Pokemon—Zoroark: Master of Illusions" and "Pokemon: Giratina & the Sky Warrior."
