Sia's 'Cheap Thrills' Played On A Bicycle (Video)

There are tens of thousands of cover versions of hit songs on YouTube, but few of them really reinvent the original version. One exception to that is this take on the hit Sia single "Cheap Thrills." Aside from the fact that all of the instrumentation is played on a bicycle, the stripped-down arrangement includes an absolutely joyous and captivating vocal performance by Kina Grannis. Kurt Hugo Schneider did the arrangements, produced the video and plays on the song.

If you're not familar with Grannis, you're missing out on one of the best new performers. She has an amazing backstory, including winning an Interscope recording deal as part of an online Doritos contest. Then walking away when she didn't like the label's plans for her music. She is wildly popular on YouTube and has used that fanbase to build a growing career. Most recently, she made news late last year when she and her band were stuck in Indonesia for 3 1/2 months due to a performance license problem.
