Monday, May 14th, 2001
Synopsis:
In
this fascinating one-hour series, producer Dick Wolf –- the creator
of NBC's "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" –-
gives viewers a revealing, inside look at the justice system with
an innovative "drama-mentary" storytelling style. With unrestricted
access, the real-life crime series follows the lives of five assistant
district attorneys as they prepare to become criminal prosecutors
in a major U.S. city.
Viewers will
see the young A.D.A.s arrive at the crime scene, meet with the coroner,
interview witnesses, prepare for trial, receive the verdict, celebrate
in victory –- and if necessary, resolve to turn defeat into triumph
next time. Profiling cases of murder rape, arson, extortion, drug
trafficking and more, "Trial & Error" offers a compelling inside
look at attorneys in action and the legal system at work.
Wolf is the
executive producer, and Bill Guttentag is the director of the series
from Wolf Films.
