Guide: Off Centre

Synopsis:
Hot
comedy auteurs Paul and Chris Weitz have stamped their inimitable
randy brand of humor on such big-screen hits as "American Pie"
and "Antz." Now they’re bringing their unique point of
view to the small screen for the first time in an unconventional
buddy comedy for The WB.
Staid and slightly
neurotic, Mike is the yin to his British friend Euan’s (Sean Maguire)
slick, sophisticated and decidedly decadent yang. Former roommates
at Oxford, the two move in to a posh New York pad, but their opposing
views on the opposite sex are glaring. As each tries to prove that
his way is best, peccadilloes, predicaments and pranks force them
to examine relationships from the other’s viewpoint — which keeps
them both off-balance and wondering if the other one isn’t right
after all.
"Off Centre"
also stars Lauren Stamile, John Cho, Kimberly Davies and Jason Winston
George.
The Weitzes
serve as executive producers with Danny Zuker ("Just Shoot
Me," "Roseanne") for Warner Bros. Television and
Dreamworks SKG.
