Synopsis: 1 couple. 10,000 Dollars. Only 48 Hours.

48 Hour Wedding combines the suspense of The Amazing Race, the romance of Weddings of a Lifetime and the tension of Trading Spaces and packages it all in an incredible new format. The typical wedding is pretty stressful, but imagine the same wedding compressed into just 48 hours and you'll get a pretty good idea of what's in store!!

The excitement begins as hundreds of couples show up to audition for our panel of judges. Three finalists are selected, but only one will get the chance to see if they can truly pull off a wedding in a mere 48 hours.

From the moment our hosts show up at the winner's front door with $10,000 in cash, the winning couple has just two days to pull together all the details of the wedding - the tuxedo, the dress, the rings, the flowers, the wedding hall, the limo, the caterer, the entertainment, not to mention inviting all the guests. With each expenditure, the audience (via an on screen graphic) will be able to see how much money they have left. All the while an on screen clock ticks down.

The couple is provided with enough money to make their wedding dreams come true, but not so much that they will be able to avoid tough choices. If they have 150 guests will they still be able to fly mom in from Florida? If the bride selects a Vera Wang gown will there be enough left over to get the band they want? Can they make it all happen in just 48 hours?

If the couple manages to get everything done before time runs out they'll win a fabulous all expense paid honeymoon. Along the way, they will also have a chance to win thousands of extra dollars in cash and prizes by performing bonus tasks - surprise challenges that temporarily derail their wedding plans, but give them a shot at earning extra money.

From the moment our cameras arrive at the couple's door to inform them they've won until the big kiss at the altar - our cameras will be there to capture every smile, every jitter, every nervous tear, as our bride and groom race to pull together all the details of their special day.
