Synopsis: "The Drew Carey Show" kicks off ABC's highly anticipated "Happy Hour" lineup when it moves to Monday nights on the network, beginning SEPTEMBER 9. The powerhouse comedy block of "The Drew Carey Show" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" will lead into ABC's legendary sports franchise, "Monday Night Football."

One of the most innovative comedies on network television, this fast-paced half-hour depicts life through the eyes of comedian and author Drew Carey and his life-long gang of Cleveland friends. There are big changes in store this season for everyman Drew, as he gets a reality check - big time -- after someone significant in his life moves on.

Things get even more difficult when Winfred Louder, the store, ceases to exist and morphs into Winfred Louder.com, an internet shopping site. Drew is plunged into the fast-lane world of e-commerce, with new bosses and a whole new technology to contend with. He'll form an unlikely alliance with his nemesis/sister-in-law, Mimi (Kathy Kinney), as they adjust to life as dotcom-ers. Meanwhile, a woman from the gang's past returns to complicate his already very complex life. (Courtesy ABC Entertainment, 2002)
