Synopsis:
The Bachelorette is a new romance reality series which
turns the tables on the traditional dating rituals by giving one
woman, Trista Rehn, the chance to meet 25 handsome, successful
men and ultimately choose the one who captures her heart. The
Bachelorette premieres Wednesday, january 8th, 2003(9:00-10:00
p.m., ET), on ABC.

(host of The Bachelor
and HGTV's popular primetime series, Designers'
Challenge) guides this romantic journey - serving as friend
and confidant -- as Trista and the men learn more about each other.
On the first
installment, "Episode 101," a sprawling mansion in the hills around
Los Angeles serves as the setting for an exciting evening of mingling,
as Trista hosts a cocktail party and meets the 25 dynamic men
who share her desire to find true love. She will spend the evening
getting to know these men and, at the end of the night, must give
15 individual red rose boutonnieres to those whom she would like
to know better. If any one of them, however, should decide that
he is no longer interested in Trista, he can decline the rose
and refuse to continue on this romantic journey.
