Synopsis:
George
Anderson, a medium dubbed the "Edgar Cayce of our time," a man
with a true "sixth sense," is featured in a compelling one-hour
special that follows him as he communicates with the lost loved
ones of subjects Vanna White, Mackenzie Phillips, WWF and WCW
champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart and the family of murder victim
Bonny Lee Bakley. News anchor Jim Moret is the host.
Anderson,
author of the best-seller "Lessons From The Light," is one of
the world's most sought-after mediums. He has appeared on dozens
of national television shows and is the only living medium invited
to Holland by surviving members of the Anne Frank family. He conducts
private appointments and grief support seminars for thousands
throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and South Africa.
In "Contact:
Talking to the Dead," he did not know the identity of his subjects
and received no advance information about them prior to the actual
time of the readings.
HIGHLIGHTS
INCLUDE:
**Vanna White. The "Wheel of Fortune" beauty meets with Anderson
and makes contact with her late mother and other family members,
but is astounded when the medium announces that a lost love -
a boyfriend tragically killed in an airplane crash - wishes to
say something. White said that, when she thought the session was
ending, she thought "Oh please, please, I would love to speak
to John . .. . and lo and behold, he came forward."
**Mackenzie
Phillips. A tearful Mackenzie Phillips listens as Anderson brings
word of comfort from her late father, "Mamas and the Papas" lead
singer John Phillips, and from other family members who played
important roles in her life. "My dad surprised me the most," Phillips
said after the session. "He did say things that I'd been hoping
to hear for 100 years."
**Bret "The
Hitman" Hart. The WWF and WCW champion listens as Anderson communicates
with Hart's late brother, famed wrestler Owen Hart, who died tragically
in the ring, and with Hart's recently deceased mother, giving
insights into many unresolved family issues and words of strength
for Hart.
**Margerry
Bakley and Marjorie Carlyon. The murder of Bonny Lee Bakley -
wife of actor Robert Blake - was one of the most sensationalistic
homicides in recent Hollywood history. Margerry Bakley and Marjorie
Carlyon, Bonny's Lee's mother and sister, meet with Anderson in
hopes of attaining some clues in the unsolved case. Amazed at
the many private things Anderson revealed, Margerry Bakley said
"It's Bonny, out and out, word for word."
