Synopsis: Britney Spears: In the Zone will feature exclusive
performance footage interwoven with a behind-the-scenes look at this
young superstar's hectic life. The performance footage, shot in New
York City's Gotham Hall, will include songs from the Jive Recording
artist's November 18 release, "In the Zone," as well as some of her
biggest hits.
Filmed in the round, Britney will be accompanied by her team of dancers,
a full band, and even a string quartet for one number. The show features
a collection of dramatic stage settings that give the concert a true
storyline.
Emotions and energy run high, as the show reflects its influences -
ranging from "Alice in Wonderland" to "Cabaret" - and presents Britney
in a variety of incarnations that are sexy, Gothic, romantic and truly
eye-popping.
So what does it take to put a show like this together? To record an
album that follows up a multi-platinum smash? To have to do interviews
and photo sessions? To literally have dozens of people working for you
and millions of fans watching your every move?
Starting in August 2003, the producers of "Britney Spears: In The Zone"
began shadowing the young luminary with their cameras, and the results
will show, as never before, how with a tremendous amount of talent and
hard work -- followed by more hard work! -- Britney has managed to become,
and remain, one of America's biggest superstars.
