Synopsis: THE PULSE, the one-hour weekly newsmagazine series produced by FOX News, returns to FOX on Thursday, January 30 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

The premiere episode will take an in-depth look at a mom, Theresa Millbrandt, who scammed a town in Ohio by fabricating a story that her daughter was stricken with cancer. In addition, correspondent Kit Hoover takes a ride with Evan Marriott from the hit FOX series JOE MILLIONAIRE.

This episode of THE PULSE will also show the dramatic results of three people's participation in different weight loss programs. Each participant was monitored by the show for eight weeks.

Fox News Channel's Shepard Smith, anchor of the most watched newscast on cable "The FOX Report," will resume his duties as host of THE PULSE, which returns to FOX on Thursday, January 30 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).
