Synopsis: For as long as she could remember, she was the Jane
in Jane and Michael Stern, a popular husband and wife duo who write
books about American food and culture.
The past thirty years have revolved around her recovering alcoholic
hubby and their career.
But one day something changes. Jane feels her marriage crumbling and
she is coping with more phobias and mood swings than she can handle.
So what does a fiftysomething celebrity food author do to save her sanity
and her relationship? She signs up to be an EMT.
It's a far stretch from critiquing corn beef hash when Jane goes out
on emergency calls. If only Jane could get past her fear of ambulances,
maybe she could actually save someone. (Courtesy Lifetime, 2005)
