Netflix has picked up global rights to a Hong Kong-produced drama series that it will premiere worldwide (excluding China) on December 22nd, 2018.

"Demon's Path" is a horror-mystery-comedy hybrid series about a pathologist, exorcist and policeman who solve crimes together. The 13-episode series was produced in partnership between Malaysia’s Astro in partnership with Hong Kong production company What A Sunny Day. It was directed by Wong Yi Hing and Sunny Lau, who also star in the series.

The story revolves around three murderers who somehow become intertwined while they continue to plot and commit even more murders in order to conceal their evil deeds.  Wong Yi Hing plays forensic pathologist Ho Fei, who possesses the special ability to replay the final 10-seconds of the deceased’s life. He uses his ability to try and solve the murders, assisted by friend and exorcist Chow Chu Kei (Sunny Lau), his policewoman sister (Kate Yeung) and Intelligence operative-turned-police inspector Madam Kok (Elanne Kong).

The three killers are played by Hong Kong veteran actors Power Chan, Jim Chim, Ai Wai and Felix Lok.
