Renault's Insane Dungeons & Dragons TV Commercial

In another life, I spent about 18 months pitching low-rent TV commercial ideas to clients, so I have a vague sense of how difficult it can be to convince someone to approve an idea which is clearly insane. Fun, and maybe effective. But still freaking nuts.

This is an ad for the Renault KWID Outsider that apparently just premiered in Brazil and while I'm not sure I understand the connection between the car and a classic Dungeons & Dragons line-up, my hats off to the creative staff that convinced the automaker to sign on. Although we're now talking about the campaign here in the U.S., so I suppose the idea is the advertising equivalent of "Mission Accomplished."
