Sure, the U.S. invented fast food, but the global market has put some
very odd twists in our favorite products. Sure, you might expect that
the triple McCheese might not be the sandwich of choice in India. But
you probably won't expect some of these delectable (cough) taste sensations.
Sure, you can get a Whopper at a Burger King in Korea. But you can also
snag a couple of very regional side dishes.
Including a bowl of corn salad..
....or this ice cream dessert with red beans.
Sometimes, it's not the type of food that's unexpected. It's where it's
popular.
I certainly wouldn't have predicted that two staples at German KFC outlets
would be...
Chili Cheese fries and.....
Donuts.
