Fall 2008
A number of shows that stopped production due to the writers strike will not return with new episodes until at least September, 2008. The following is a list of shows that that will return in the fourth quarter of the year:

2009
24 won't air any new episodes until January, 2009, but a two-hour movie will air in the fall of 2008. That film will reportedly take place between the events of last season and the crisis that opens in January.
