Biography:
Breckin Meyer joins NBC’s "Must See TV" Thursday lineup on
"Inside Schwartz," starring as Adam Schwartz, an athletics-obsessed,
minor-league baseball sportscaster who describes his life through sports
analogies and reveals his thoughts through personal conversations with
renowned sports figures. After his girlfriend unexpectedly dumps him,
Schwartz rebounds with the help of his friends and works through his
pain to get back into the dating game.
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Meyer started acting
in his early teens. Upon completion of his education, he began to deliver
notable performances and has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most
sought-after young actors. Meyer recently completed production on the
romantic comedy "Kate and Leopold" opposite Meg Ryan and Hugh
Jackman. He will next be seen in the upcoming ensemble comedy "Rat
Race," co-starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., Whoopi Goldberg and Amy Smart.
Meyer’s additional feature-film credits include "Roadtrip,"
"Dancer, Texas, Pop. 81," "54," "Go,"
and "Clueless."
Meyer, who is a basketball fanatic, currently lives in
Los Angeles. His birthday is May 7.
