American Music Award Nominations

The
nominees for the 27th annual presentation of The American Music
Awards were announced on Monday, December 6th, by Dick Clark,
Norm Macdonald and Carmen Electra.
Whitney
Houston, Britney Spears and Shania Twain received the most nominations,
with three each. Ten groups and individuals received two nominations.
The
American Music Awards will air from the Shrine Auditorium in
Los Angeles, on Monday, January 17th (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.
Norm Macdonald will host the live event.
